A Virgoan garden of mercurial spirits reveals pathways into the Heavens and the Earth for the winged footsteps of the ever-curious, Mercury re-wilds and androgenizes the classical Fougère (“fern” structure that established modern perfumery in 1882). The path opens with mugwort and lavender, beloveds of Mercury, air scented with herbs electrified by fruity green timur pepper, bergamot and geranium absolute. Inky notes of magnolia, lavender, jasmine sambac, violet and papyrus call forth Gemini’s affinity for communication and the written word, while honeyed immortelle, coumarin and benzoin anchor the scent into the shining aura of the infamously flirtatious and ever-youthful god, Hermes.
